Steam distilled from bark.

CAUTIONS:
Essential oils are highly concentrated. Possible skin sensitivity. Consult your physician before use, especially if pregnant, nursing, taking medication or if you have a medical condition. Avoid eyes, mucus membranes, and sensitive skin. Discontinue use if signs of irritation occur. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after applying product. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Use with caution. Cinnamon Bark essential oil is a skin irritant when undiluted. It is considered a dermal toxin, irritant and sensitizer. It is also an irritant to the mucous membranes when undiluted. According to Robert Tisserand, the author of Essential Oil Safety, suggests that a recommended maximum dilution would be no more than 0.1% before applying to the skin. That’s equivalent to one drop in 30-40 ml of carrier oil – although there are some who feel that Cinnamon Bark oil should never be applied to the skin no matter what dilution. Do not use in pregnancy, on babies/children, or the elderly. It is sudorific (makes you sweat).
